The Legacy of CH Thevenet Tramontana Desatada
Another cornerstone of our Clear Passion breeding program is the remarkable CH Thevenet Tramontana Desatada, a foundation female whose bloodlines can be found in many of our current dogs’ pedigrees. We were fortunate to welcome her into our family in June 2010, and she has since played an instrumental role in shaping the future of our kennel.
Cindy, a daughter of Multi CH Real Mc Coy of Glen Sheallag, quickly proved her exceptional qualities in the show ring. She earned her championship title with distinction, but one of her most notable achievements was winning Best of Breed at the Retriever Club Show 2012, judged by the esteemed Brian Moran. Her success in the ring was a testament to her beauty, temperament, and conformation, making her a true asset to our breeding program.
We are eternally grateful to Santiago Gadea Castro of the renowned Thevenet kennel for entrusting us with this exceptional bitch. His faith in us, along with his invaluable counsel over the years, has played a significant role in the growth and success of our kennel. We also thank him for the many other top-quality dogs that followed, imported from the famous Thevenet lines, which have further enriched our breeding program.
Throughout her breeding career, CH Thevenet Tramontana Desatada produced a number of outstanding litters, with matings to some of the top studs of the time. Notable sires included CH Bonett Bride Energy Source, CH Dewmist Hope of Harlequin, and CH Picture Perfect of Clear Passion. From these pairings, Cindy produced numerous beautiful, quality offspring who have gone on to make their own mark in the show world and as cherished companions.
Her legacy is alive and well in our kennel, carried forward by her descendants. CH Thevenet Tramontana Desatada has been an integral part of Clear Passion Retrievers, and we are proud to continue her bloodline in our breeding program. Through her, we have not only gained an exceptional show dog but also a foundational bitch whose influence will endure for many generations to come.
In 2010, Clear Passion Retrievers proudly welcomed CH Zampanzar No Time for Love, affectionately known as Zara, to our breeding program. Imported from Spain, Zara brought with her a wealth of prestigious bloodlines that would go on to play a significant role in shaping the future of our kennel. Zara is the daughter of CH Shardanell Castaspell and CH Zampanzar First Time. Her pedigree is particularly noteworthy as she is a direct daughter of UK CH Shardanell Castaspell, one of the top stud dogs of his time. Zara’s grandfather,World Winner and Double European Winner Paudell Pure Passion, further elevated her lineage. From her early days with us, Zara demonstrated the qualities we sought in our breeding program—intelligence, elegance, and a loving temperament.
Zara’s legacy continues to live on through her offspring, particularly through her successful mating with CH Moondust Highlander. We are deeply grateful to Zara’s breeder for entrusting us with this exceptional female. Zara has been a key foundation dog for Clear Passion Retrievers.
