Apro of Clear Passion, born in the summer of 2019, has become a key figure in our breeding program. He is the result of a carefully planned breeding between JCH Simply Fabulous of Clear Passion and the Spanish import CH Thevenet Amistad Verdadera. His pedigree connects him to CH Blue Star Music of Glen Sheallag, our foundation female, and carries forward the legacy of strong, healthy lines.

Apro’s mother, Thevenet Amistad Verdadera, brought fresh bloodlines from some of the most respected kennels, such as Thevenet, Jako’s, Remington, and Ashbury, enriching our program in ways that we continue to appreciate. We are grateful for the qualities she passed on to Apro, who has grown into a dog we are very proud of.

While Apro’s successes in the ring have been rewarding, it’s the comments and recognition from respected judges that truly highlight his qualities. In July 2023, after judging Apro in Romania, Mr. Jakkel Tamas praised him for embodying the “balance of the Golden Retriever,” noting that he wasn’t “short on his legs” and had “long upper arms.” Apro’s performance that weekend earned him the title of Group Winner, a moment that we hold dear.

In 2024, UK Judge James Richardson when judging Apro at the Retriever Club Show, remarked, “I loved his height-to-length proportions, giving him total balance. He has a very attractive masculine head with a kind expression, good reach of neck flowing into the withers, a good straight front, well-sprung ribs, and a well-developed hindquarter. He moved with style.” These comments reflect the core qualities we strive for in our breeding program, and we are grateful for the recognition.
